less my carry over of $21.98 still makes me starting next week in the negative w/o even buying papers (-15.39 to start my week 4 - BOO!!!)

  1. I'm impressed that you had a carry over amount at all. I don't think I've ever spent less than I've budgeted. My major downfalls are when I see something on sale. I convince myself that I better buy it today 'cause tomorrow it might cost more. But, then I go over budget. I've given up thinking I will just not spend that dollar amount the following week.

  2. Jen - actually after coming home and thinking about todays shopping trip I decided it really wasn't that big of a deal that I went over. Truthfully, if I took out the 5 Olive Oils I would be alot closer (but really how often are you going to get the 25.3 oz Filippo Olive Oil for 4.00 each! ohhh plus the look on the checkers face when I was buying 5 bottles was priceless - I think I thought I was Crazy ... if he only knew!!!)
